Mothering Matters
“Mentoring Mothers of Young Children in a Personal Way”
Mothering Matters is a ministry of Siloam Springs Bible Church designed to minister to mothers of young children in Siloam Springs and the surrounding communities. Here are a few of our goals:
· Mentoring mothers in a personal way
· Making friends
· Learning parenting skills
· Receiving encouragement
· Addressing spiritual needs
· Hearing how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
We will meet two Fridays a month, from 9:30-11:15, with childcare provided. Our first meeting of the month will be Friday, September 8th, and is our Main Meeting where we will gather together to share a meal and listen to a special speaker. For the second part of that meeting we will divide into our Care Groups. The second meeting of the month will be just with our Care Groups. We hope to be able to provide you with lots of love and encouragement!
Care Groups will read through a chosen study book individually and meet once a month to discuss it and enjoy each other’s company. Mothering Matters will provide the book; we just ask for a $5 donation to help cover the cost.
